review 1: Read this on a sunny day where the light settles around you like a blanket, streaming in from an open window, the curtains fluttering softly in the breeze. A cup of tea on the side with either chocolate truffles-careful NOT on the pages, disgusting really when the next person comes and has to flip the page-or maybe little crackers. Indulging is nice, every now and then.The March sisters in the Atwater sisters sometimes got too predictable (and rather ditsy!) but I laughed and found myself nodding quite a bit and grinning in sheer delight. Anyone who classifies this as chick lit gets a kick up their backside. British girls talk funny.
review 2: The Little Women Letters is a nice, cozy story. I was expecting a comfy, nice, quick read and I got it. It is fun to re... moread further into Jo's life through her letters, and they seem very much in the voice of Louisa May Alcott's Jo. However, the whole story was just nice. I was not blown away, but I didn't dislike it either. I am glad I read it, but I will not be buying this story. I would recommend just getting a copy from your library. less
