review 1: A great mis-match of jaded spy and sweet, pure lady. Perfect for each other. Loved Trevor's story. Loved his (finally) HEA.I relate well to Grace. She is the perfect preachers daughter. Most of the time.I would have liked this book a lot more if Grace had not compromised her morals in the name of love. That would have been more realistic. But, as I loved the book so much i did not mind so much.
review 2: Romance novels almost always end with the lead couple together and living happily ever after in wedded bliss. Nawww. Usually authors try and throw us off of the wedded-bliss scent by chucking in a murderer or a schemer or lord-forbid, a master-manipulator. While the romance boils up nicely this sub-plot adds some tension. My Notorious Gentleman did not have thi
... mores sub-plot until the last few chapters, in which it sort of came out of no where and yet felt developed and logical at the same time. Therefore the bulk of the novel was solely reltionship development. Given that it was 350+ pages it didn't really drag, and I found Trevor and Grace quite lovely. Their flirting and their genuine enjoyment in each other shone through and I found myself grinning along with them.I felt that Grace was sometimes a bit too Preacher's Daughter with her lack of backbone toward Callie and her mother, yet she was fiestyenough around Trevor which saved her for me.Would definitely try more by the author based on this novel. less

Grace seems to have a temper, opposite to her behavior. Humorous story.
