review 1: I really like My Sister's Song. I originally read it because I am a big fan of Gail Carriger's other books. This one is filled with her unique style of writing and humor. I liked that historical, Roman side as I have always been interested in the Roman era. I also loved the strong female charactor of Mithra. I would definatly read My Sister's Song again and would recomend it to those looking for a livly, interesting and short read.
review 2: This was a very interesting short story. The setting and characters were fascinating and I would definitely pick up a full-length novel on the subject (not that I expect one). I am already a huge fan of Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series and am looking forward to her upcoming YA series. My one big gripe? Oh, the typ
... moreos and grammatical errors... I wanted to scream. It ranged from simple typos, to several incorrect homophones (loose for lose, faired for fared, and worst of all, allowed for aloud. I read it allowed!??). Horrifying. This story definitely needed another lookover before it got released.Still, if you have an e-reader (or even if you don't - you could read it on a computer. It's not that long!) I'd recommend it to all my fellow Carriger fans. less

Brilliant! It reminded me a little of Asterix and Obelix.
