review 1: This was a hoot!! I was cracking up through the entire story. Snarky, action packed and really entertaining. Told with only one POV, (thank you), Zoey, the female protagonist. Wise cracking, unique but very big personality, I couldn't help but love her. She exasperates all the giant warrior aliens with her spunky attitude, quick wit, and knack for getting herself caught up in the worst predicaments. Did not realize it was the third in the series until I bought. But that was after I read the sample and I just couldn't bring myself to set it aside to read it's predecessors. I lost complete track of time and read through most of the night. It's also my first "Alien" themed story. It's really pretty out there but really entertaining and nice change of pace. The story was fast ... morepaced and admittedly choppy, but the amusement and crazy over the top non-stop action far out-weighted it.Totally recommend this one. Now, I am hoping to find equal enjoyment with the rest of the series.
review 2: I stumbled across this series by accident and I am so happy that I did! This book made my laugh out loud at some of the sayings (“Yippee-ki-yay, motherf*ckers!” I had always wanted a reason to say that) I thought the book flowed so well and I felt like I was right there with the characters. There was tons of action and romance. Love these alpha males that forget they are mated to alpha females! I can't wait to see what the next book in the series will be. less
