Things I Wish I’d Known – Facts

Claire and Mark work in Rochdale. Rochdale  is a town in Greater Manchester, England,[1] at the foothills of the South Pennines on the River Roch, 8.5 km northwest of Oldham and 9.8 miles (15.8 km) northeast of Manchester.

Claire lives in Littleborough. Littleborough is a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale.

Claire grew up in Potters Bar. Potters Bar is a town in Hertfordshire, 21 km north of London.

When Claire starts stalking Andy, she goes to Cuffley where he lives. Cuffley is a village in the Welwyn Hatfield district of south-east Hertfordshire located between Cheshunt and Potters Bar.

The summer when Claire was obsessed with Andy, she and her mother went to Great Yarmouth. Great Yarmouth, often known to locals as Yarmouth, is a coastal town in Norfolk. The town has been a seaside resort since 1760, and is the gateway from the Norfolk Broads to the North Sea.

When Mark starts changing the way he behaves, one of the things that surprises Claire is that he has bought a book by Ross Kemp. Ross Kemp (born 21 July 1964) is an English actor, author and BAFTA award-winning investigative journalist. He rose to prominence in the role of Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Since 2004, Kemp has received international recognition as an investigative journalist for his critically acclaimed and award-winning documentary series.

Emily, Frankie’s eldest daughter, is a fan of the Twilight saga and before she gets sick, she longs to go to the premiere and see Robert Pattinson, the main actor. Twilight is a series of four vampire-themed fantasy romance novels by American author Stephenie Meyer. Released annually from 2005 through 2008, the four books chart the later teen years of Isabella “Bella” Swan, a girl who moves to Forks, Washington, and falls in love with a 104-year-old vampire named Edward Cullen. The books have been made into The Twilight Saga series of motion pictures by Summit Entertainment. The films star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
