review 1: I just bought this book because of the title, I admit it! I couldn't be sure that I would enjoy it, so I waited for it to go on sale. When it did, I snapped it up and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a fun, but somewhat silly, yarn about a teenage boy who is drawn to a patient that his father is currently counseling. She claims to be from another planet and is looking for her "intended", so she can take him back with her. Of course, her "intended" ends up to be none other than Johnny Depp!Mad-cap adventures ensue and the ending is satisfying. It was a good choice for a rough day, when I needed something light and fun to read.
review 2: I loved the French translation by Isabelle Perrin. When it came out, I decided not to read it. I didn't want to be disappoin
... moreted. I just started to browse through the first pages when I received my author copies. I couldn't stop reading. Turned out I totally rediscovered it with fresh eyes and loved it. Isabelle Perrin got the spirit, the mood and the voice bull eye right. This is a really good version of How I Stole Johnny Depp's Alien Girlfriend. and it sports my 100% pure beef seal of approval. less

A fun YA sci-fi read, although I felt the ending was a bit lacking.
