review 1: It's a shame such a fun and spirited historical romance novel should have such a ridiculous title and cover. Regardless, author Gayle Callen has written a lively story about Audrey, a blind widow who enlists Robert to assist her in claiming her home and her independence. It's refreshing to read a love story where the characters don't fall into lust first, but friendship and trust. A great beach or airplane read, I look forward to reading more of this author's stories.
review 2: I was absorbed in this book right from the start! I haven't read Gayle Callen before and now I can't wait to check out the rest of her books. It turned out this was part of a trilogy, which I didn't know at first, but that didn't take away from reading the book at all.
