review 1: A year has passed since I read this book and I still remember the pleasure of the time spent within its pages. My original review seems to have disappeared but I do want to encourage everyone to take time and read this book. Several themes are well-developed and the author creates the setting of seaside town so authentically you expect to visit there one day. I want to read more books by this author.
review 2: I won this book from the Firstreads giveaways on Goodreads. It is a Christian/fiction mystery easy enough on the mind that makes it an enjoyable read. The characters were likeable and the plot was interesting enough to keep you guessing. There were quite a few bible verses and characters praying to God throughout which might turn those who aren't re... moreligious away. Overall, I would give the book 3 1/2 stars. less
