review 1: Short read and a great quickie in the series. Jamie's right-hand gal/office assistant, Maya, is pulled into surveillance when all other agents in the PI firm are booked. All she has to do is get proof for the client of her husband's infidelity. Easy, right? Except that the 'mark' turns out to be Maya's ex-fiance. When Maya finds no evidence of any foul play, she gets curious and begins to track the client instead. In the long run, she exposes a money laundering operation, and the fact that her feelings for her ex are something that might need to be looked into. He seems willing to assist, and it might be interesting to see where this goes between the two. Great novella.
review 2: "Bond Bombshell" is a short novella that features Maya, Jamie Bond's executive as
... moresistant. It seems Jamie is overbooked and needs Maya to check out a potential cheating husband. Although Maya has never investigated a mark and she is very nervous, she agrees to the assignment. However, things go badly when Maya realizes that the husband she is investigating is her ex-fiancee, Brandon Duke.As the events unfold it is very clear that nothing and no one is who they seem. This was a cute little story that gives us more insight into one of the Bond girls. I hope there will be more of these about the other sub characters in the future. less

Very short. I would have liked a little longer story. Almost felt rushed at the end.
