review 1: I was gifted a copy of this for my honest review. What can I say about this book other than it was fantastic. I will admit I was a little skeptical about the hybrid vampire/werewolf thing but this book was so well written that I mostly forgot about that aspect of it and was instead drawn into the characters and the storyline. I was able to pick up on little quirks of each character like Nathan has OCD, Harper has a hard exterior but I feel like something is lurking underneath that, Collin is a born leader but has a soft side to him, and Ember is much stronger than she thinks she is. I am itching to get into Roxanne Desired to see how this story unfolds!
review 2: I really enjoyed this story, it’s fast pacing you get caught up in the story and I was left wantin
... moreg to read the second book. So why not a 5* then? Ok I don’t mind instant love it happens but for me when Collin comes into Ember’s life with in a blink of an eye they are all over each other. I would have liked to have seen some resistants’ there or maybe a little time to get to know each other. I loved the strong female characters in this book from Ember herself to Harper and then Tegan. Tegan was my favourite character she made me LOL a few times and I loved the banter between her and her Uncle Collin. I liked Collin he was a bit overshadowed by Ember but I think his time will come in the next book. I’m left intrigued by what’s going to happen with Nathan and Roxanne and will defiantly read the next book to find out. less
