review 1: There's a lot to be said about Project Cain, I'll start off with it was not, by any means, a bad book; it could have been much better, but overall it was not bad. I find psychology and criminology and everything in that realm to be very interesting, and I thought the explanation of Cain, and Adam and Eve and Lilith to be very excellent. Girard's writing technique I found to be annoying. NO QUOTATION MARKS WHEN PEOPLE ARE TALKING?! It became confusing very fast. I also found the dull parts were stretched out too much, to emphasise their dullness, but the exciting parts were rushed through. I would say it is a good concept and I would recommend it, but I don't think I'd read it again.
review 2: It was amazing!!! It had a certain attraction that caught your eye, a
... mores it did mine. While reading, i kept smiling, anticipating as to what may happen next! Of coarse i got new, intriguing information out of it, but the thing is about this book, is that it made it that more interesting! This book in itself which seem to keep my blood flowing all through the night, kept itself alive, just as Castillo woke up from his nightmares, and the thing on the bed seemed to swallow the night hole. A fantastic read! I cant wait to read Cains blood, and see through Castillo's eyes!!! less
