Fave: Disney Character Meet & Greets

Hey friends!

I wanted to do a Disney post today to get me in the mood for my upcoming trip! In a week I will be in Orlando, Florida and I can not wait to absorb the magic of Disney property. As I said in a previous post, I will not be going to the parks this time around, but I thought I would take this time to talk about my favorite characters to meet around the parks. Obviously, I will meet any character in the parks with no complaints about the lines, but these are just a few of my all-time favorites!!

Alice in Wonderland

(Poor Quality Photo, High Quality Memory)

Alice is my hands down favorite character in the Disney realm. I rarely ever skip a meet and greet with her on any trip. The most common place I have met Alice is in the Grand Floridian’s breakfast place called 1900 Park Fare. It is one of the only places you can meet the Mad Hatter as well. Other locations include Epcot in the World Showcase UK and next to the Mad Tea Party Teacups in Magic Kingdom. She can also be seen in the welcome show and the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Gaston

Yes, he’s a villain, but he’s hilarious. This may be one of the most interactive and fun meet and greet experiences at Disney World. You can find Gaston at his tavern in the new Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. I have never laughed this much (other than Peter Pan of course) in a meet and greet and his character is brought to life with every word out of his mouth. He’s conceited, larger than life and gorgeous. He’s definitely worth the wait.

Baymax

First off, if you have not yet seen Big Hero 6, go rent it, pop a giant bag of popcorn and get ready to laugh, cry and be so incredibly happy with the character of Baymax. The first time I met him, I waited in line for an hour and 45 minutes. Talk about dedication. It was one of the last times he would be side by side with Hiro though, and that was well worth the wait for that experience. Ever since though, I have been visiting my big cuddly marshmallow in Epcot in the character spot! Check him out. He gives the longest hugs, booped me on the nose and just made me feel extra loved for a few minutes in my day.

Punzie

My favorite princess always deserves a visit in the Princess fairytale hall in Magic Kingdom. I talk to Punz about everything! For my birthday, she told me she would make me 21 birthday cakes and whatever we didn’t finish we could give to Pascal. This time around, we discussed hair care and how we love to braid our “blondie locks”. I have a blast with her every time and I actually miss her afterwards. I would spend all day with this little ball of sunshine if I could!

Send me a comment/message and let me know your favorite meet and greet spots!
