review 1: I prefer this one over the first one! This definitely falls under gay fiction and not romance so might not be up everyone's alley but if you've ever read or watched any of the Indiana Jones books/movies this will be right up your alley. In all honestly sometimes I feel like this book has too many characters but the way they all interact with each other seem to work in the end. Not going to lie because of the mass amount of people some of the mains get pushed to the background in this one like Luca and Eden. Even in the first book I thought that Jake got the short end of the stick always the one ending up getting beat to a pulp while the others are out sexing it up. Anyway, I like this book and the series is definitely worth a read!
review 2: Overall, this novel... more sounds like gay Indiana Jones. Other than being gay, this novel features several main gay characters. The plot is nice, full of actions, although - like all other action stories, it's predictable (good guys win, bad guys lose). The sex is nice but I wish it had been longer :) I read somewhere online (the author's blog I think) that someone wrote like "Finally, porn story with plot". While I agree the plot part, I don't agree with the porn part coz it's simply not erotic enough to be categorized as porn story.Overall, I do love this novel. And am hoping to read the continuation. less
