review 1: Okay to be honest the premise just sounded so over the top I felt it had to be fun. For me it was an amusement park ride. So many curves, hills and twists it can take your breath away. The characters were fun and engaging. Yes they were all young and good looking but damn, they got the job done!My only complaint is a minor one. Whom ever edited this book could have done one thing to make reading easier. Throughout you'd be reading and bang all of a sudden you'd be back reading about some of the other characters. Now it would have helped if there'd been an extra space between sentences and made it Look like a new paragraph instead of what it was you were reading previous. However this was minor and you got used to it. I know there are alot of people less forgiv... moreing than I when it comes to things like this but the way I look at it is.....1) Did it keep my interest2) Was I enjoying the characters, quirks and all3) How bloody fast did I read the novel. For me the formatting kept me from giving this 5 stars. Otherwise I liked the ride and will get in line to ride the next in the series.Thank you Geoffrey!
review 2: This is more of an adventure story than a romance, although there are some hot scenes in it. We’re introduced to five characters as they are joining together to find a hidden cross. There are parts of this that are reminiscent of Indiana Jones and The DaVinci code. Some of the adventure is completely ridiculous but the characters are fun and different and well conceived. This is the first in a series and I could see reading more about this fun team of handsome gay adventurers! less
