review 1: Couldn't find the free english version on the internet so read the Chinese version instead. Great book that illustrates how human nature drives all kinds of economic events, how confidence, equity, corruption can affect stock market, housing market or cause recession etc. Very informative as well, I especially like the chapter that explains the how central bank (federal reserve) functions during market crash or recession. Highly recommended!
review 2: I don't know why I continue to buy to pop-economics books since they always leave me feeling like I've wasted my time. This one isn't the worst I've read but still... It's a slice of Keynesian bandwagon-jumpage, rushed into print last year when the great man was briefly in vogue, but unfortunately their take on Ke
... moreynes is a ludicrous caricature (as is their take on Adam Smith, for that matter). They've thrown in a few anecdotes of economic believe-it-or-not to appeal to the people who bought "Freakonomics" a couple of years back, and hey presto, instant bestseller. less

Not as great a book as expected. Overall, a bit of a snooze-fest.
