review 1: What can I say that hasn't been said already? It's geopolitics, drama, sex, violence, family drama (drama again?), and then dragons, wolves and magic! Hinted at first, at the middle and probably right until the end. Nothing is what it seems, and when it is, a very intricate web of events took us there, and keeps on taking us into an exploration of a World more complex than anything I've ever read in fiction. I can't recommend enough that people read this and don't settle for the TV series.
review 2: I thought that this book was awesome!!!! (I have only read the first one) But just saying, I only recommend this to advanced readers and this is no "side" book. You have to be in full concentration if you want to read this book or you will have to go back and re-r
... moreead the whole thing. Has lots of action, quite intense, I recommend this to people who like fantasy. Also, to read this book, you have to have a good, wide range of vocabulary because it has a bit of confusing words and phrases. You will have to get used to the old fashioned way of talking, (took me quite a while to get used to it) but besides that, it's a really good book if you can manage to understand it. Warning though, there is a bit of adult content in this book, it's better if you are more of a mature person to read this book. But overall, I think it was quite a good book with very good description. less
