review 1: I liked this story much more than I thought I would. There were some parts that I didn't agree with but all in all it was a fun read.Sybilia is Guy Devaux betrothed, ordered by their Norman king. She lives in a convent with Deorwynn, a Saxon and proud Norman heater. When it was time for Sybilia to marry Guy she enlists Deorwynn help. Sybilia isn't a virgin, and lucky for her Deorwynn is. She makes a deal with Deorwynn to take her place on the wedding night and fool Guy. He notices the switch right away as he is not as dumb as they thought. He plays along since he liked Deorwynn and wanted her anyways. He rest of they story is about the couple coping with their growing feelings for one another and finding themselves.
review 2: Romance it is pretty much not...I s... moretill don't get where they fell in love, cuz all I noticed is instant lust...And the last part, where she was testing him and he was testing himself, I really don't get how that proved that he loves her.. Really, he sees someone else going at it with her, caring only about whether she'll get pregnant from that and pufff we see he loves her?Something is wrong with that logic.. but than again, I never got the manege thing so maybe that's me not getting it.. less
