review 1: Oh, what can I say, I loved this story!Thierry is such a likeable hero. I was rooting for him the entire way!Vivien is also a great heroine, I was also on her side from the beginning.This book left me feeling so happy that I had to give it 5 stars.Thierry is under instructions by the King to deliver some sacred religious artefacts to Normandy but he sent a group of nuns to guard them. The thing is, one of the nuns (Vivien)is not who she appears to be and has been sent to steal something from the religious treasure and return it to a corrupt bishop in exchange for her freedom.The way this story progresses and the twist in the middle is just fabulus! I absololutely LOVED how the author ended this story and gives Thierry and Vivien their HEA - fantstic!!Will start the next in... more the series. Can't wait!
review 2: 4 Stars ~ Thierry was first introduced in the earlier books as Guy's best friend who falls in love with a woman not his betrothed. To help his friend, he weds the betrothed and of course, regrets it every moment after. He's eager for the few weeks away from Wessex. The King has a sense of humour, knowing well Thierry's reputation as a womanizer, he sends a special envoy of guards for the casket of relics Thierry and his men are transporting. When Thierry sees the nuns he roars with laughter but soon he's finding that nuns can be most inconvenient. Vivienne has been ordered by a greedy Bishop to recover a special treasure hidden within the casket. Posing as a nun, she realizes that the only way to distract Thierry is to seduce him. This is a delightful romp filled with humour and sizzling sexual tension. Thierry has met his match in Vivienne, and I'm so glad that they found their HEA less
