review 1: 2.5 Stars. A decent read, but so short that as a stand alone it doesn't really allow for proper character development or relationship building. Lexi/Sky is a bit on the annoying side and the love is so instantaneous you have to stretch your belief that the "instant" connection which we're meant to take as love, would sustain a foundation set on a cruel prank and a 7 year absence. The smexy scenes smolder, and the set up would make for a good full length story/novel, but as a novella, it doesn't quite reach its potential.
review 2: This is such a lovely story. After being humiliated in her teens, Sky takes drastic action and reinvents herself as Lexi, and is determined to get revenge! Does it go according to plan though? You will have to read it to find out. Onc... moree again, this is a superb piece of writing by Georgia le Carre, who has managed to pack quite a lot into this short story. I love how she just throws that something different into the mix as well. A really great read to get your quick fix of erotica. less
