review 1: I’m really starting to hate these books. I really wish at least one of her problems would go away permanently, before new ones are added. Would make for a less confusing and more enjoyable story. The readers wouldn’t get quite so fed up with Glory that they don’t want to continue the series. This one starts out nice with Glory happy with Jerry. The worst problem was Aggie (whom I can’t stand) showing up to help with Flo’s wedding. Creating a cool competition between Glory’s bachelorette party and Aggie’s bridal shower. Then a ‘convenient’ excuse pops up for Jerry to have to leave town so Glory can mess things up: again. Spoilers below. Yep. This is another Glory is a slut story, only this time she tries to blame it on the demon that accidently... more got inside her during a fight that Richard tried to stop.(I’d wondered why his religious connection was introduced to the series). But the demon only seems to be able to suggest things to Glory and make her hot and bothered. She can resist at times when she wants, so it seems like just an excuse to do what she wanted to do anyway. And the long scene at the end with Rafe about Jerry was so mushy it was nauseating. For awhile I thought the cool ghosts were back! I love Emmie and Harvey. But apparently Ms. Barlett though they should be the ‘situation’ to drop. I’m happy for them, but I’ll miss them. Also at the beginning of the series, Glory was so excited about opening a vintage clothing shop and making it a success. Now she barely seems to be there, except when it’s needed to be a place for problems to happen and/or to use the back room for quickies with the ‘guy of the hour’. What about all the problems she had getting enough good employees to cover the 24 hours shifts? Suddenly that has disappeared. That website with the vampire kills should have been turned over to the authorities. The government may not believe in vampires, but those are definitely photos of people’ murders with Westwood involved and his estate and business can be investigated. Even without bodies, it shows that something odd was going on. But then there’d be no reason for Westwood and Simon to blackmail her. By the end when Glory confesses to Jerry and he walks out on her, I was bawling. But Flo's 'exorcisum' saved the day and at least Glory and Jerry are still talking. But if Glory doesn’t start to get her act together in the next book I’m outta here. Fave scenes: (there’s a few) the demon fight in Glory’s shop, taping the fake video and Aggie’s party games.
review 2: This book was such a disappoinment to what was once a great series, after only getting a few giggles out of it i finally finished this piece of crap a couple of days ago.I was really hoping that she would come toher senses and be with Rafe and finally leave Jerry, but maybe Glory and Jerry do belong together, he's a controlling chauvinist and she wants to pretend she's an independant woman while having someone control her life. I definately won't be reading any future Glory books, which is a shame because it used to be one of my favourite series. less

It was worth reading the entire series just to get to this book. I loved every minute of it.

Still skeevy, the lead character really needs to dump her main squeeze. He is an a'hole.

Reading these back to back makes the story a bit repetitive. Still a good summer read.

This book just didn't do it for me. I'm tired of Jerry and wish Glory would move on.
