review 1: This book took time to read as it was 858 pages in the format of the Simple Touch nook. It seemed very authentic, as I read about the good friends who grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. Nicky Fusco had the bad fortune to to sent to prison, with then several years added on. His love, Angela was raped by one of his friends, and married, but she wanted him to look her up when he got out of prison. There is all sorts of murder and torture. One friend even became a police detective. It is quite straight forward and easy to read.
review 2: Murder Takes Time was the first book that I read by Mr. Giammatteo and it definately will not be the last. Since I picked up this book after reading a review on The Feathered Quill, I've been hooked. His writing is gritty and... more honest and I have truly come to care about the fate of the characters in this series, as well as other books that I've had the honor to have read. If you like a good crime novel and like to see your favorite characters grow throughout the pages, I definately recommend you give the Friendship and Honor Series a try. less
