Getting Proustian With…TYLER KING – The Interview Series

Romance writer Tyler King and I share an agent, the tireless and wonderful Kimberly Brower, but because I am super shy and avoid almost all social interactions with folks I don’t know, we only met a month ago. When she reached out to me after reading an ARC of DUTCH.

Honestly, I didn’t even know she had an ARC of DUTCH. But her words couldn’t have come at a better time – I was in the throes of missing my book III deadlines and wondering whether the book made sense and my words mattered and sobbing as I wrote Dutch + Juma’s end – I totally needed to hear someone else say they liked what I was doing and thought I was kind of good at it.

She basically pulled me out of my head and out of my funk.

So now, probably unbeknownst to her, she’s kind of got this special place in my bones. Couple that with her way with words – I’m reading an ARC of her upcoming novel RIOT STREET and it’s sooo damn good – and I’m totally hooked.

Tyler’s new novel comes out April 30th – make sure to grab a copy and meet Avery and Ethan. Until then, get to know her a little better here, as she sits down and gets Proustian with it.
