review 1: Estava sinceramente a espera de um livro diferente, tem realmente uma parte ternurenta com todo o imaginário da Judith mas depois é um rol de desgraças desde o início ao fim do livro, passando por greves e bullying, tudo acontece a protagonista e depois as constantes referências a Deus e aos ditos milagres como nevar. Demasiado surreal para mim mesmo tendo uma open mind não gostei. Tem no entanto momentos descritivos soberbamente bem escritos ao longo de todo o livro, não o suficiente para me arrebatar!
review 2: This was an intriguing book, told through the eyes of 10yr old Judith who lives with her Dad but that it seems is about it, she lives there and is taken care of but there is no great affection from him for her or no time given to her. It started... more off brilliantly and had me hooked, you can grasp the bigger picture of what is happening as you follow Judith's childish reasoning. However, the end was a disappointment and again I felt rushed, as if the author suddenly decided to end the book quickly. less
