review 1: I really enjoyed reading Gregg Alllman's book for its honesty and sensitivity. He's dealt with incredible loss in his life, and played for nothing for a long time. It is clear his brother, Duane, meant the world to him and pushed and guided him into places he admits he wouldn't have gone had he not been prodded. I appreciate his love for the South and for music. It's a touching recollection of his lifetime in music and beyond. I couldn't put it down. review 2: I always enjoy learning about the private lives and thoughts of others. Even though Gregory has lived a much richer life than I have in many respects, I feel as though I can relate to his personality traits and some of his life experiences. I think he is probably a man that a lot of people don't like... more. But, I feel like he is, at the core, a good person. I'd like to end by saying, "Thanks for sharing. I'd like to know you even better." less
