review 1: 2.5 stars. C'est pas la livre du siècle. Ca se lit vite et c'est sans profondeur. Comme toujours avec Musso on a l'intrigue de base qu'il met dans tous ses livres. Tu te demandes pourquoi il va chercher autant d'idées tordues et pas crédibles. Et la fin n'en parlons pas, on a vu mieux. Ca trainait sur mon étagère depuis euh des années donc je l'ai lu pour enfin en être débarrassée.
review 2: If you are a fan of Musso, this novel is a good one. If not, this may somehow let your expectation down. The book is weaker than Musso's previous novels. Links are hastily put in. Development is more reluctant as story comes nearer to the end. Also ending is hurriedly wrapped by.P/s:1- We don't get famous quote every chapter like Musso's previous novels, which is ... morea shame. I really enjoyed those.2- Vietnamese translation is a joke, why didn't they keep the proper noun in English, instead they translate half of them (wtf?). I.e.: the translation was "Thế hệ bỏ đi và Beat generation", why don't they keep the "Lost generation". And also "thế hệ bỏ đi" was a very very wrong translation. less
