review 1: Herman and Rosie are best friends who enjoy doing the same activities, and listening to the same genre of music. As the two live separate lives in the busy city, they grow lonely, and decide to embark on an adventure both will enjoy. The watercolors illustrating the city, city parks, and the nightlife between the two does a fantastic job of setting the young at heart, adventurous tone that shall be experienced in this story. The verbiage is short and simple, therefore providing a good reading experience for young readers.

My only reservation is I am not absolutely convinced this book has a lot to offer the small child. My preschool children listen politely (for the most part) when I read it but I have to work hard to keep their attention and they don't ask for the book again and again...so is it good for small children? Not so sure.Beautiful though less
