review 1: Okay so I thought Theia was all kinds of AWESOME in the first book, she is OUT OF THIS WORLD in this one!!! She is seriously bada$$, and I personally love the attitude change! Evil(Deamon ONLY) Haden OMG WTF!!! Okay back on track. I love Under like yea I love the creepy crawly where nightmares come from Under!!! I love all the details she puts into it and how she puts all their friendships to the test! Some EXTREMELY sad, heart wrenching, WTF, Please Oh NO!!!!!!!!!!! moments in this here baby!
review 2: This book was such a disappointment. I absolutely LOVED Falling Under. It was such an amazing book with unique characters, an eerie otherworld, and a much appreciated twist of an ending in the young adult paranormal romance genre. I could not put that book
... moredown. So naturally when I heard about Dreaming Awake I could not have been more excited! And then I started reading and I just... it was so terrible. Everything I loved about Falling Under was absent in the sequel. It was like reading about different characters completely. If you are like me and loved Falling Under I wouldn't recommend this book at all. Even though I hate loose ends when it comes to series I would much rather just leave Falling Under to itself than lump it together with this book. less

Book two in this series was wickedly delightful and I truly hope there is more to come in this series. After escaping Under Theia and Haden try to assimilate back into life as they knew it. Theia is realizing Mara turned her into something extra and she's not quite sure how to deal with her new cravings and changes. Haden will do anything to protect Theia and ensure his mother never gets her hands on Theia again. The entire gang is faced with new truths and new perils. Fighting together for what they believe in Theia and her friends will face off with Mara and hope the casualties are few. I'd recommend this darkly seductive young adult series to anyone who likes the bad boy and some macabre with their romance.

Can you say, one of the best book series ever? Because this, the Lux series, and the Mortal Instruments are my top favourite book series yet. They've left such an imprint on me. I remember so much that happened in the books as if I read them just yesterday, the characters weaseled themselves into my heart and when I was done reading about them, I didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't want to read other books because I was still fan girling about the one I just read, lol. I loved these books with a passion.
