review 1: Theia has been brought back from the Under, and is somehow expected to return to her "normal life" - yeah right, Theia's life now is anything but normal. She now has to deal with her demon urges, and everyday is a struggle. Plus, kid's at her school are looking drained... and she can't help but wonder if Haden's the reason why. But Haden would never do that... or would he? Not to mention, someone from Haden's past is determined to destroy Theia. Theia's been given the impossible choice between her friends and family, and the only true love she's ever known...I give this book 2/5 stars because it was pretty boring, and the main characters fought a lot... much to my annoyance. It's like, they've been given a chance together and yet they spend it arguing... okay then. Also, t... morehe book's pretty random. For instance, the author does this thing where "Up is Down" or whatever, and everything's all backwards and weird. It worked in the first book, but not so much in this one. Plus, I thought the ending was pretty weak. It's a decent ending for just the book, but considering I can't find the third book to this series, I'm guessing this is the last one; And if that's the case, then this is a pretty horrible ending to the series. It doesn't tell me much, and leaves a lot open to my interpretation. Which for the last book in the series that is not okay. Additionally, I didn't really like the cover of the book- the girl is kind of freaking me out. And I don't really care for the title, I mean, why isn't it just called Daydreaming?
review 2: Honestly, I could rant on and on and on about this book and it's amazingness, but you know, it would be pointless because that still wouldn't be enough. It's just a definite too read kind of book!(: But read falling Under first. Ahah, that would really help you(; This is the second book to it(: I would say Falling Under was a little more interesting. I never wanted to put it down. This book, the beginning wasn't as luring. I set it down. I would always find something else to do. But NO. I was so wrong. When I picked it up again, It was intense. I read for the whole day. I didn't go to sleep until 8:00AM. And I had church at 11:00AM so, I was putting myself in quite a bit of a situation. Two and a half hours of sleep is not good for a 16 year old girl. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be though, and I don't regret going to sleep so late. Or should I say early? Idk, but it was worth it. I put this book on hold in 2012. I think I waited like 5 months, maybe 6? just so I can go and get it from the library. When it finally came a week ago, my god, I FREAKED out. I was way to excited just to read a book, ahah. There was only 1 person who understood my excitement. A friend of mine. We're book buddies. As lame as that may sound, let me remind you that we read good books so...just no. Anyway, it was def worth the wait. I'm just soo sad there isn't another book to it! I love Haden. Although, the black nail polish? Not so much. Then again...he is half demon, and he probably likes dark stuff. He would probably be a little Gothic...but I just can't imagine him like that. I imagine him as a hot young guy that every guy wants to look like and every girl is jealous of Theia because she's the only one who can have him. But apparently, the only way either of them can get boys/girls to look at them, is if they use the lure on them. I would think they were both extremely attractive even without the lure, am I right? It's okay though. They have each other :D And both of them ARE really attractive, just not to the point where people won't look away. The relationship..omg...I'm ranting! Ugh, whatever. The relationships are amazing. Theia and Haden. Donny and Gabe. Amelia and Varnie. Mike just kind of went crazy on us so...he doesn't need to be alive. :D I actually felt my heart drop a little when I read that *SPOILER ALERT* Varnie died. He did it to protect Amelia, sure, but why him!? Varnie was amazing! He was actually like the coolest kid ever! A 19 year old cute psychic, that is so sweet, and would pretty much do anything for Amelia. But at the same time, he's sarcastic, and funny, smart, responsible, and really powerful. He's pretty everything awesome in a guy! Same with Haden and Gabe. But the thing is that right when Amelia started to love someone else, she didn't even get her chance! I mean, she had like a zillion and one chances to get with him, but she didn't think he liked her, and her belonged to Mike. It was because of a spell...she couldn't love anyone else because she did this spell thing with her and Mike that bound her to him, instead of him to her. But Varnie undid it...AFTER he died for her. Yes. I sobbed like a little baby. I still feel sad just thinking about it. I guess it's better for HIM to die out of everyone else. I mean, if I had to choose, I'd choose the father. I don't have anything against him, it's just, he was never really there for her any way, and she and Haden will always have and protect each other. Plus, her dad couldn't exactly do much to protect her if she's half demon. It's better he be gone then the 2 powerful psychics, 1 half demon, and a girl and boy that can help with minor but helpful things. Mike doesn't even deserve to be discussed in this. If I had to choose between Haden, Gabe, and Varnie...Well, Haden just simply cannot die. He's pretty much half of the book...Gabe, he's too good for Donny to die. Donny doesn't open up to many people. She doesn't even open up to Amelia and Theia most times...but with Gabe. She can let her guard down(which is new for her) and just enjoy a nice day with an attractive guy that never left her, even though she's pushed him far away and bitched at him often. They were honest to go perfect. And well Varnie. He's just too awesome. Amelia is so shy, but when Varnie came in, he pretty much melted in her shoes. He helped her get stronger, he protected her, he had a secret crush on her(though it wasn't so secret to everyone else), and he was just perfect for her. It takes a lot for Amelia to start liking new people, and her thing for Mike was strong, mostly because of the spell, but some of it was legit. Point is, Varnie just helped her be more...wild, and explore a more powerful side to herself she didn't know she had. They connected. And when she finally realized that, it was too late. And it was honestly, heartbreaking. Saddest thing ever. It did say in Falling Under that guys noticed Amelia, and tried getting her attention but she never noticed. She only noticed that Mike Manthony didn't notice. So, even without Varnie, if she let herself, she could get a few dates. But I don't think she'll ever find someone who could help her with all her magic, and with the stuff they all have to deal with. So, yes. I think Varnie was possibly her soul mate.Anyway...I loved it. As you can tell(: So read it, 'cause it's really awesome and amazing(: less

I was kind of disappointed in this book. I was lookign forward to things getting hot and heavy between Theia and Haden because they were both demons (sort of), but that never happened. I was also kind of disappointed in the ending since they really didn't solve the problem with Mike and didn't answer the question of who was staying and who was going. I didn't get the arrangement that Haden and Theia made, were they going to stay forever or just supervise every now and then? What really frustrated me was when Varnie died saving Ame. I was waiting in both of the books for Varnie and Ame to be together, since they have similar interests, but that never got to happen. The ending makes me wonder if there is going to be more though, since it left off kind of open ended.

I just wasted a whole day reading through these sequel. While this book got me hooked, I'm thoroughly disappointed that Theia and Haden got too many hurdles in their relationship. They're together, but they can't, and then they're together again but got separated. And then they got back together then they still can't. It's so frustrating! A lot of poeple compared the story similar to "Twilight", atleatst in twilight, we got a lot of Bella and Edward being together. Here it's just been constantly annoying that they ALWAYS can't. Ugh!
