review 1: It started out rather interesting and then, bam, pet peeve alarm!! - Spoiler - someone gets hit with a bear bottle over the head, falls unconscious and obviously has a laceration and shows signs of a concussion. Anyhow, said person refuses to get checked out by a doctor. And friend of said person lets himself get convinced (with a stupid argument) to not drive by the hospital.And then hit person gets horny as hell.Yeah, well, no, no, no. Doesn't work for me at all.
review 2: This was a very short story about an established couple who get involved in a bar fight. It felt more like a scene from a longer book rather than a complete story in it's own right. However the writing was strong, even in such a short space you got a good feel for the two main characters. I... more think if the story were continued I would read it.Overall it was ok, but it just didn't feel complete - there were too many unanswered questions. less
