Skyler Foxe Mysteries
review 1: The last in her Foxe trilogy, Haley Walsh does an excellent job winding up the mystery that has been building in her first two Skyler Foxe mysteries. Her characters are fun, funny, and lovable. And Haley Walsh has been steadily building her characters, their personalities, and their relationships, with just enough spice to really keep your attention. Treat yourself to this series, it's worth it. But I would really recommend that you start it from the beginning.
review 2: I haven't made it a secret that I definitely do not enjoy this series. I just don't get it. Is it suppose to be a comedy / Nancy Drew / Murder She Wrote kind of parody? I cannot take the plot serious where it seems that Skyler can do a better job than the actual police in solving not one murder
... more but two over the space of three books (where the time-line across the three books is short).Add the fact that Skyler has the most annoying friends, a laughable love interest and a creepy mother I am not sure what to do with these books. Never mind the fact he seems to be a crap teacher - who spends more time playing catch the killer and hypocritical gay counsellor to his gay students. All in all I really did not like this series. The third book did start of much better but as usual I jinxed myself. less

3.5 stars - Another enjoyable Foxe tale, full of quirkiness, hilarity, hot intimacy, and intrigue.
