review 1: I enjoyed the first 30% of the book, but as the story moved on (after Robin & Tony got together) it just got slow and action-less, it was just about going to work, dating & then back to work... perfect lives.Even the last bit where I thought there would be some action/suspense, it was settled in a very mellow way.Not my favourite read but it was decent, will be reading book 2 and hopefully it is better!

She works long hours to insure that her two younger sisters have the skills and education to be also not be dependent on a man.This novel, the first of the Jewel trilogy, lets us see Robin as she changes her heart as she comes to know Antonio “Tony” Viscolli. Tony introduces Robin to his Lord and to his friends. Something from Robin’s and her sister’s forgotten past enters their lives.
