review 1: I would recommend this book because the author touches on stories from her past that a lot of youth girls and even grown women struggle with today... Such as self-image issues, loneliness, divorce, and so forth. The author shares her experiences of becoming a Christian and finding True happiness in Christ alone. I thought the author did a great job articulating how much God loves us-- His royal daughters. A great read for youth, teenagers, and women of any age.
review 2: I am a youth leader in my churches youth ministry and as a group we went trough Gid Guy and God Girl together and I have to say this study was amazing!!! This was chosen primarily for the teens and by the end of the study I think all of the female youth leaders went out and bought this book. Th... moree Demarco family has been given this wonderful perspective on what it takes to be this powerhouse for God. The most amazing thing about this book is that at face value the concepts seem so basic, however I feel like even seasoned Christians would benefit from the reading material! It's a wonderful book to do a study to because it speaks on all levels whether you have been serving God for 75 years or 75 seconds! And don't be shy about writing in this book! Make it your own! This really got me to refocus on some things and I am excited to put the concepts into practice! less
