review 1: Forever Breathing is the final book in the Just Breathe series. If you haven't read the first two books I just want to warn you that spoilers may be found here if you continue reading. I thought this book tied up the series beautifully. I felt that with each book the story just got better and better. I am sad to see the series end as I am with all my favorite series that I have grown attached to. Not only is this genre so very interesting but also hard to resist delving into.In Forever Breathing we find Ever immersed in a hard fought battle in the sea. She has found her way back with Jack. Who I wasn't a huge fan of in the last book. I was totally team Alex, well until the very end of Barely Breathing the second and previous book. Now I'm Jack's biggest fan. Now ... moreJames Ever's brother is trying to lead a semi normal life but is drawn in again to the sea. There are so many things at stake and everyone is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the cities survival. Ever has a mission to complete, one harder then she could of ever imagined. The one thing that sealed my favorite book of the series status was the introduction of a soulmate/ promised one in this book. How finding that one you belong to is a very amazing thing. No matter what they went through to get there, it was all worth it. It seems that finding happiness that is well deserved put so much in perspective. Everyone grew a great deal in the series and I enjoyed witnessing every little detail. I would of loved to see a glimpse into their future. I just want to make sure that these people I fell in love with are doing well. This is a wonderful book from a series that you will not want to miss
review 2: An amazing end to a brilliant series!Everything was wrapped up beautifully, leaving no question unanswered. I loved feeling like I was right there, back under the sea watching all the events unfold. The twist and turns left me gobsmacked, I actually yelled out loud at the characters from time to time. The emotion I was made to feel was that good. I can't wait for future books by Heather Allen. less
