A Wishcraft Mystery

review 1: I shall count this among one of my favorite cosy mystery books to date. Why? Because this one had a supernatural element to it that I just loved. It is no secret that I love supernatural books and this one fit the bill. It is #3 in a series, so I will be going back to read books 1 and 2, and can't wait for book 4 as well! I will say that it fits the formula for these cozy mysteries, even with the magical extras though, so any cozy mystery fan will enjoy it. Be warned that there are talking animals in this series, so if you can't handle that in your world, you may be a bit turned off or take aback. I personally loved it, but then again, I love all animals and wish mine could talk. LOL I will say the cliche that I laughed and cried and aww'ed my way thru this book b... moreecause it is true. You really get pulled into it and get attached to characters and storyline easily here. Def recommend to anyone who likes this genre, and especially those geeks like me that love magic!
review 2: Really cute entry in the series about a village of witches that hide in plain sight (The village plays up it's proximity to Salem, and all the businesses have magical names, but most are really owned by Crafters as they are called in this series) As usual, our heroine finds a body, and has to investigate on her own, placing herself in peril from the murderer, and the jealous deputy who wants to break up Darcy and Nick, the sheriff. Nice ending sets up the next book in the series. less
