Foxe Sisters Trilogy
review 1: NEVER LOVE A LORD by Heather Grothaus is an exciting historical romance set in 1277 England. Book #3 in the "Foxe Sisters" trilogy, but can be read as a stand alone, with re-appearing characters. See," Never Kiss a Stranger" and "Never Seduce a Scoundrel". The eldest Foxe sister, Lady Sybilla Foxe, is not only brave, strong,in danger of hanging for treason but very sensuous. Julian Griffin, must fulfill his mission from King Henry, to secure Fallstowe Castle, prove Sybilla either innocence of treason or guilty and bring her to the King to possibly hang for her mother's crimes. But when love, respect and passion enters the equation can Julian actually bring Sybilla in to hang or will he face treason himself? Lady Sybilla has done what she could to secure her younger siblings fut... moreure, keep the people of Fallstowe Castle safe, kept her mother's secrets, found more secrets and lies, betrayal and faces losing the love of her life. She has always protected the people she loves, while swearing to never fall in love,Julian is no exception. A fast paced, sit on the edge of your seat, story of love, consequences, betrayal, and heart felt passion. An exciting, climactic conclusion to the "Foxe Sisters" trilogy. A must read for anyone who enjoys historical romance, Medieval era,and finding true love. Received for an honest review from the publisher. review 2: This was such a fun book to read. Julian had no idea what he was getting into by trying to secure Lady Sybilla Foxe’s home. Sybilla is a very strong character who has taken care of her family and her sisters through many dangerous events in their lives. Each sister has found love except for Sybilla. She is, in my eyes, the strongest of the sisters but the hardest one to fall in love and trust anyone outside of her family. Julian is another strong male character that matches Sybilla both in personality and emotionally. Sybilla has a tough time trusting Julian but she does finally realize after some trials that she can’t live without him and his daughter. This was a great conclusion to the Foxe sister’s trilogy. It answered some questions that books 1&2 brought forward and I was satisfied with the conclusion that all the sisters were extremely happy with their lives. less

Fast, fun, and easy, though not high quality. Perfect summer lounging book.
