review 1: It is strange how long it took me to read this series as I was very invested in the vampires and werewolf type stories so I finally got around to reading it. I must say I was not disappointed and I really enjoyed the different take on Peter Pan and the crew. What a tale that is told - full of magic and mystery and a whole new spin on the classic tale of Peter Pan albeit a much more handsome and captivating Captain Hook that's for sure. Heather is such a wonderful storyteller and she sweeps you along into a world that you never want to leave and the romantic in me sighed in anticpation. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this story to all and sundry.
review 2: I seriously LOVE this book. It literally at me at the edge of my seat 99% of... more the time that I was reading it. You literally have no clue what was going to happen next. Which, I hate/ love at the same time. I love when books have different outcomes than you expected, have you guessing on what will happen next to the point you are literally freaking out because you gots to know, and can be original all at this same time. In my opinion with those qualities alone make a good book. But, at times I can seriously have deep freaking hatred for those qualities. Just because...you know... the unexpected became WAY to unexpected and didn't turn out into your liking. If you have read the book you know what I'm talking about (the deaths of two certain people). They were literally the last two people you expected to be kill. It just blew my mind. This book takes off two years later after Wendy destroyed Neverland by the way. Just saying. So like I said before, this book was freaking AMAZING! I love this series so much and it's original. Which makes me like it even more. If you haven't read the second book yet, or haven't read the series at all then I REALLY recommend that you read it. =) less
