review 1: Not a bad little book.  You can read it in a sitting, and it's stuffed with good advice.  Like most books of this ilk, it recycles ideas and studies.  My favorite of the "9" was focusing on getting better rather than being good.  The cutting edge science these days suggests that we're fatalistically tethered to our DNA.  If being a great X isn’t in our genes, we'll never be a great X.  I like to think I've improved quite a bit at X, so I'm a little bothered by modern science.  Of course, the men in the white coats would counter that I was predetermined to get good at X.  I can't win.  Lousy X.
review 2: «Being successful is not about winning the DNA lottery; it’s about reaching goals. It’s about making smart choices, using the right strategie
... mores, and taking action.»Here you'll find nine useful tactics successful people do to reach their goals. There is no revolutionary ideas in here, but productivity tips and useful habits, which are straightforward and easy to use. Quite short book, takes a couple of hours to read, but very clear and to the point. I like it! less
