review 1: I love Helen Keeble's books--both this one and Fang Girl--because of their great touches of humor and wonderful character voices. How can you not like a teenage boy angel who has to hide his halo by indulging in one of the seven deadly sins behavior...like looking down girls' shirts?! She also takes genres like vampires and angels (and let's face it, they've been overdone in YA fiction), but adds wry humor and a sense of gently poking fun that makes them entertaining and creative as well as light-hearted. If you think you can't stand another serious paranormal YA book, try these...very refreshing and pure fun.
review 2: This is hands down one of the funniest books i have ever read. Raf was a hilarious, i loved reading from his POV. and Krystal OMYGOD she was aw
... moreesome, one of the best side characters ever. Michaela was so kick as, i liked her too! But man Faith was a bit of nut job, she was so... oblivious... goodness it was painfully hilarious listening to her logic. I loved how the teachers were in on IT, that makes it sound like real high school ;) also the headmistress was pretty cool, if a bit complicated. This was great quick read, with a pretty good plot, awesome characters, and lots of fun. I cant wait to read Fang Girl, and any of Helen Keeble's other books! less

Not as funny as Fang Girl, but just as frustratingly, purposefully open-ended.
