review 1: Although there was lots I could relate to in this book, I never found "my" story. A whole book and not one lesbian woman who didn't want children? There were also a lot of overly similar stories. Also, missed opportunities to highlight how our society equivocates having children with being an adult, contributing to society, etc. when there's research that shows that single people without children are more civically engaged and contribute more to society than people wrapped up with their families.
review 2: A great read for women who decide not to have children or who can't have them. It's a topic not much discussed in social situations, so it was nice to read the experiences of childless women (humorous and sad), and while all the stories are different there we... morere a few in there that made me feel like I finally found my sisterhood of "I don't want kids.
