review 1: Pretty entertaining. I felt some of the summaries were lacking in important details (of course they are only four panels, but for a few I felt main ideas or main plot items were missing). There were several typos and more serious errors such as referring to Jelinek's The Piano Teacher as The Piano Player. Perhaps that one was a translation issue. I feel the book could have benefited from serious editing, but I still enjoyed it.
review 2: As a librarian, one would assume that I have read all the classics-Tolstoy, Dickens, Twain...etc. I hate to break it to you, but I am not an expert on these. This book however really gets down to the general gist of 90 classic books. The summaries are told in 4 celled comic book panels which make it even EASIER! And even better
... more, the author takes a satirical somewhat sarcastic approach that is quite fun to read. Can't get much better than this. less

Toujours aussi drôle et bien trouvé, surtout si on a lu les œuvres en question.

In pratica, 90 spoilerate immense. Non sono neanche tanto divertenti.
