review 1: I really like reading about the Tudor time period. And I liked this book for the most part. But it was just OK. Perhaps I didn't like it as much as other books I've read because it was written for a teen audience, although I generally like young adult books. The whole ghost boy thing didn't do it for me. And, while the first part of the book caught my attention, setting things up, I thought the end brushed over events much too quickly.

The book gave an interesting perspective of how King Henry VIII's turbulent childhood, ideas of grandeur and extreme paranoia led to him becoming such an evil person.
