The Betrayal Knows My Name
review 1: this book was way thicker then I thought, great! art work is good but the characters are too similar to my taste. really liked the large drawings in the beginning of each story. i liked it but i wasn't blown away by it...too much highschool stuff and i fear there are just too many characters to really get involved. they just felt a little flat. i really hope the connections get deeper and more meaningful in the next installments. I'm gonna buy the next one in line to see where the story is headed. make or break :)
review 2: The betrayal knows my name is one of my favorite series. The art on the cover catches your eye and you can't help but want to read it. The story centers around a high school student named Yuki who has strange powers. Yuki doesn't know this b
... moreut he used to be a girl and fought demons called duras that are summoned by the antagonist Reiga who tries to capture Yuki. Yuki and the zweilt warriors must come together and stop Reiga from killing the entire human race. The story line is really good and interesting. If you like a mixture of shojo and shounen manga, then I recommend you read this series. I also recommend that you guys watch the anime for Uraboku, too. I think anybody who reads manga like fruits basket, naruto, bleach, case closed, strobe edge, and skip beat would like this series. less
