review 1: Noah's Petting Zoo is a well written and wonderfully illustrated book I'm sure any child would enjoy. not only does it preach teamwork and helping others, but it shows children that just because something (or someone) is old, that doesn't mean it's useless. The rhyming is terrific. I'm always fond of a children's book that rhymes; it reminds me of Dr. Seuss. The rhythm can be a little clunky at times, but on the whole it runs smoothly. The character of Andrew is great; the little hero that won't take no for an answer. I would have liked to know why it's so important for Andrew to save Noah. Is Noah a play area for the neighborhood kids? A clubhouse? Also, I love how everyone has such weird pets like a zebra, a giraffe and an ostrich. I'm eager to read more from Mr.... more Hadari.
review 2: A cute, well illustrated children's book, in rhyme, that follows young Andrew as he tries to save a historic building named "Noah" from being demolished. We watch as he goes up the chain of command to finally speak to the Mayor on behalf of his friend. When the Mayor agrees that he could save Noah, but only if Andrew can find a useful purpose for the old building. So Andrew comes up with an idea that all his friends support less
