review 1: I really enjoyed the first half of the book, where Jay is returning to Hancock, meets Henry again, recovers from his accident and they eventually act on their attraction.I then found the misunderstandings/running away sections a bit too contrived. I would have enjoyed the resolution of all the threads just as much had Jay stayed or just returned Traverse City with none of the Tom things. However, towards the end he did say he'd needed to sort himself out first before he could move forward with Henry. The writing was light and pacy making for a easy read. Overall enjoyed the story.
review 2: As a hopeless romantic at heart, this book touched me to the depths of my soul. A beautiful written story about two childhood friends who drifted apart only to be brought bac
... morek together 15 years later. Their boyhood connection ran deep within moments of seeing each other again. But love is never easy. Jason and Henry find the path before them rocky. Both men struggle with baggage that leads to lots of misunderstand. Watching Jason deal with his emotions and his past was a refreshing character trait. He needed that time alone to cleanse out all the bad before embracing his sudden physical relationship with Henry. We find the heartache is well worth the ride. This book is about two men who love each other and find strength within themselves to live happily. less

This is such a lazy, romantic, bittersweet at times, comfort read. It's ... lovely.
