review 1: Although very predictable, the super hot rodeo cowboy turned sheriff made the story. Cowboy stories are a guilty pleasure and this was an easy, quick read. Cassie reminded me of someone kind of sheltered, innocent, unsure of herself. If she would have told Jess her problem during any of the numerous opportunities she had there wouldn't have been much of a book. Nonetheless, it would have been marvelous being in her shoes at the end. Can't say anything else lest I give too much away.
review 2: Into the Arms of a Cowboy by Isabella Ashe is a cute little story about a rodeo cowboy and a troubled woman. Cassie killed her attacker. A date rape gone haywire. She feels no one would believe it is self defense. She Stowaway in a camper just trying to escape San Francisc... moreo. When Jess Logan, the cowboy, goes in back to sleep he awakens her. She screams and his dog starts barking. Cassie doesn't want to feel anything but she is attracted to Jess. He can tell she's troubled but when she finds out he is also a sheriff she goes in a tizzy. Can she learn to trust? Will they recognize they love each other before one of them does something foolish? less
