review 1: This book, in my opinion, boring. But it's also kinda interesting cause Wyatt, the main character, is a young fighter who lives with his uncle and is always travaling around the country. Wyatts parents sent him to a foster home because he burned down his old house. And he fights for me in order for his uncle to keep him. Wyatts uncle Spade is a douche and treats Wyatt like crap. But other than that, it's kinda boring.
review 2: Why I fight is not a book I would recommend to a friend. The book was not very full of action and lacked details that could have really pulled it together. From the start I chose this book because I like to fight and play around with my brother and friends, and the summary made it seem like it was a decent book. However, as I kept readin
... moreg the book I found a large lack of detail and purpose. The characters weren't very descriptive, and there is not truly a reason why the main character (Wyatt) even fights. The book summary describes the book as "Full of Action," but there was a lack of action until about page 105. The reason why Wyatt fights is because his uncle thought he would be good and pays to have him trained. This was completely shocking, for I thought the reason would be because of someone's death or action, but instead it went out cold and disappointing. The only parts considered interesting were towards the end, but even that was ruined by the over mentioned amounts of booze and drugs. Overall I would not recommend this to friends, but if I were to recommend this to anyone it would middle-school-aged boys with not much else to do. less
