review 1: DNF at the first chapter. Sydney and Kyler have been best friends from kindergarten. She loves him, he can't remember the name of the girl on his lap and he can't describe what he's feeling -- oh yes, jealous -- as he drags Sydney away from the attentions of the rather plainly named Paul. And Sydney can't imagine why on earth the bartender would wink at her, but it's really to let us, the readers, know that she's oblivious to her own attractiveness. I just can't.I think I'll go back to that serial killer series now.
review 2: I wasn't really keen on this book, which is a shame because so far I loved books written by J. Lynn. I just couldn't get into this book. I didn't really like the characters and I couldn't engage with them. I was disappointed but, I will re... moread the next book in the series. I hope it's better then then the first. I did find that in some places the book got intense and there was Times when I was scared for the characters. I gave this book a four because, it wasn't my favorite book, but I there were some things I liked about it and I love this author. less
