review 1: I've been wanting to get inside Fredrick's head since the last book. And in this one, his world is even more engulfing than I imagined. I think I read this in a day- I was like a junkie, sitting around my apartment trying to find things to keep me busy and all I twitched for was to continue on reading. In doing so, it was like a nice adrenaline rush. This book kept me guessing, enthralled with questions, and then as the story progressed and it just felt haunting and dark.Loved it, a fan of this series for sure!
review 2: I absolutely LOVED this! By far my favourite out of the series. This book had everything and the characters were just amazing. I did not expect the twist towards the end at all, which surprised me really because I'm usually quite good at antici... morepating these things. When Cassia was revealed to be Seraphina, I just could not believe it. Such amazing writing and storytelling. I will definitely re-read this one at some point. Fucking awesome! less
