I have to say that I don’t like Mal’s attitude towards Nova.
He blows hot and cold, and in short, he is a tease. He keeps telling her how much he misses her when she is not around, and even when he goes on a long trip to Australia, he kisses her just as a joke. And he is quite opinionated about Keith, the man who Nova dates and eventually marries. I really don’t understand Mal at all. If he was in love with Nova, why didn’t say so? We know that he later married Steph, and why? Does he love her? The attitude we have seen so far shows the opposite, so why force Steph to be in a relationship that will make her miserable, which is what she is feeling now?
