review 1: One of my favourite books. The beginning is quite hard to read due to the way the main character is treated, but it's excellently written. You're really drawn in to his story. The romance starts when the second MC steps in to help him and they gradually fall in love. It's a book about healing and how love can facilitate that. Emotional and traumatic in parts but also sweet and sexy with a lovely HEA. A really good story with a D/s twist.
review 2: I really enjoyed reading this book. It included some detailed BDSM where one person is eventually injured. It was more of an abusive relationship. Once out of it Aiden finds someone who is willing to be a friend and help him heal. Keaton isn't looking for BDSM but rather a domestic discipline relationship. In the proc... moreess of helping Aiden heal from his abusive relationship the two realize Aiden needs some structure and guidance so they decide to give DD a try. Aiden's journey is a very emotional story but he will get his HEA. less
